Yesterday I thought I was scheduled to work. When I arrived, my manager Mark laughed and told me he appreciated my enthusiasm, but go home! Go home, Lila, and enjoy your Sunday! He didn't quite say it like that, but that's what I heard in my head, as well as bells and violins and birds singing. Off I skittered, throwing my uniform into the breeze.

Sean and I walked around Lake Eola, looked at swans and dogs and wares under canvas roofs. We saw Little Shop of Horrors, which my father played, and ate dinner with him and a friend at what he called Pie Wie (Pei Wei). Snort.

All in all a good day.

Now it's a few weeks later and I'm in a bit of a rut, as per the usual. The pursuit of knowledge and happiness typically motivate me, but when you're in the limbo of being on that boat, racing towards those goals, there's little to do.

Watch a documentary about sea creatures who use camouflage?

Okay. Then what? Go rollerblading around the river? Most likely. Then chores, like cleaning up the house and grocery shopping and tending to the reptiles. Lucien needs a new lightbulb and Oreo needs to be fed.

Tomorrow I'll go to the museum of art with people I don't know. Should I dress nice? Do I even have nice clothes? Should be interesting.

Planning to go to New York in December. That'll be fun.

More later.
